👋 1. Introduction

RecruitNest specialises in staffing solutions for the driving, HGV, warehouse, and logistics industry.

We work with:

  • 🚛 HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers

  • 🚐 7.5T & Van Drivers

  • 📦 Warehouse Operatives

  • 📋 Transport Managers & Secretaries

Our aim is to provide reliable staff for companies and exciting job opportunities for candidates.


🏢 2. Client Terms (Companies Hiring Staff)

📌 2.1 Introductions

  • An “Introduction” means when we share details of a candidate (CV, profile, or verbal).

  • If you hire, engage, or use a candidate introduced by RecruitNest within 12 months, our fees apply.


💰 2.2 Fees & Payment

Permanent Placements

  • 12.5% of the candidate’s first-year basic salary.

  • Example: A Transport Manager on £40,000 → £5,000 fee.

Temporary / Contract Staff

  • Billed hourly: Candidate’s wage + agency margin.

  • Example rates:

HGV Class 2 Driver £15/hr £19/hr
7.5T Driver £14/hr £18/hr
Van Driver £12/hr £16/hr
Warehouse Operative £11/hr £14/hr

✅ Invoices are due within 14 days.
⚠️ Late payments may incur 4% interest above Bank of England base rate.

🔄 2.3 Refund & Replacement Policy

If a permanent candidate leaves within 10 weeks (excluding redundancy, misconduct, or company closure), we offer:

Candidate leaves within Refund %
0–2 weeks 80% refund
3–4 weeks 60% refund
5–6 weeks 40% refund
7–8 weeks 20% refund
9–10 weeks 10% refund

✔️ 2.4 Candidate Suitability

  • We take reasonable steps to ensure candidates are qualified and compliant.

  • Final responsibility for verifying skills and legal requirements rests with the client.


👷 3. Candidate Terms (Job Seekers)

By registering with RecruitNest, candidates agree to:

  • ✅ Provide accurate, up-to-date information (CV, licences, Right to Work).

  • ✅ Allow RecruitNest to share their profile with potential employers.

  • ⚠️ Understand that we cannot guarantee job offers or minimum hours.

  • ✅ Accept that final hiring decisions are made by employers, not RecruitNest.


🔒 4. Data Protection & Privacy

  • RecruitNest complies with GDPR and all UK data protection laws.

  • Personal information is stored securely and only shared with potential employers.

  • Candidates and clients may request data deletion at any time.


⚠️ 5. Liability Disclaimer

  • RecruitNest is not liable for any loss, damage, or costs arising from employment of candidates.

  • Clients are responsible for supervising and paying workers during assignments.


📌 6. Termination of Services

  • Either party may end services by giving written notice.

  • RecruitNest may withdraw services immediately if terms are breached.


⚖️ 7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
